Friends visit, etc.

Some friends came to visit this past weekend.  It's always good to see them.  They came for a visit while we lived in Germany and SJ was pregnant at the time... and now the little guy is a toddler!  She happens to be pregnant again... isn't it great that I make my pregnant friend travel to see me?!

It was fun to reconnect, this time with three kids instead of one!

Ok, so the first 3 have nothing to do with their visit...

There's the little guy!

 Yay for friends!
We love CO spring snows... no coat!
P's first experience playing in the snow...
Sorry about the pink boots, little guy...

I have a picture of Abbey looking at Tom's iPhone during their last visit...
Amelia's favorite thing to do right now...

Eggs, Easter and Cascarones

Happy Easter!

We dyed Easter eggs last weekend.  It was our first time to do this with Abbey, and it was a lot of fun.

Stu: "Ok, so now gently drop it in."  Abbey: "Drop it in?"
(*crack* goes the egg...)

When I see pictures like this, she still looks like such a little girl (which makes me happy):
I had to sneak through the dining room and hide behind a wall to get this picture:

Loves chocolate (or chwocwate), just like mom...
There is a very small part of me that wants to let her sit down with that big chocolate bunny and see what happens.  A very small part.
We had lots of kids and friends over for the day...

 More hunting for eggs...

Love this one with Uncle Ty... she was so happy with him.  Thanks for being such a help, big bro!
I couldn't bring myself to do an exact match of the girls' dresses, just coordinated. Their leggings are the same, though because they were so cute!

 Too much for little T.

My friend sent Cascarones (read about them HERE) for Abs to play with.  Stu and I were a little uncertain how it would go, because Abbey really likes things to be picked up and tidy.  I think you can see from the pictures below that any trepidation was unfounded...
